We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking Restoration Contents Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll play a hands-on part in helping customers recover from loss — by carefully handling, documenting, cleaning, and restoring their personal and business contents.

The Restoration Contents Technician is responsible for assisting customers with handling, listing, cleaning, and storing their contents during the property restoration process. This position requires attention to detail, strong organization, and compassion when interacting with clients who have experienced damage to their property.
- Respond to property disasters while providing exceptional customer service
- Assist team members with mitigation and deconstruction tasks as needed
- Use mobile apps and restoration software (Encircle, PSA, DocuSketch, etc.) for documentation and reporting
- Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies
- Ensure all contents are properly tracked, listed, cleaned, protected, and handled throughout the claim process
- Assess, document, and photograph item conditions before and after cleaning
- Maintain accurate inventory of contents, labeling, and storage locations
- Handle all customer property with care and professionalism
- Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness
- Attend and document new loss inspections
- Create preliminary reports and walkthrough findings for partners and customers
- Establish clear content restoration plans and goals with clients
- Create 360° digital tours and detailed item lists (non-restorable, cleanable, storage, inspection)
- Identify and coordinate third-party specialists for specialty item restoration
- Ensure accurate coding, tagging, and disposition of all items in software systems
- Properly pack, protect, and transport items between customer sites and storage facilities
- Lead or assist temporary staff as needed on larger loss files
- Complete and obtain all required sign-offs and documentation

- Conduct site safety assessments and toolbox meetings
- Perform daily vehicle inspections
- Identify and report faulty equipment (lockout/tagout)
- Maintain safe, clean, and hazard-free job sites
- Supervise on-site activities to ensure compliance with safety procedures
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and clean driving record
- Clean criminal background check
- Basic computer literacy and comfort using mobile apps
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, move furniture and boxes, and work in confined spaces- Comfortable working in PPE for extended periods
- Positive, reliable, and team-oriented attitude
- Previous restoration, cleaning, or construction experience is an asset but not required — we will train the right person!
