Your Role and Impact
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will travel to customer sites, including refineries and industrial plants, to assist Engineers and Project Leaders.
Your tasks will involve data collection through radiological investigations, climbing distillation towers and other process vessels, handling radioactive materials
Assisting in generating insightful reports for our clients. Your expertise in industrial process systems will be crucial in resolving customer issues and ensuring their success.
You will typically work under the guidance of a project leader, but there will be moments when your independent judgment and skills will shine. When not on-site, you will support our organization by maintaining equipment, organizing shop work areas, and focusing on your professional development through job training.
Our Commitment to Safety and Excellence
Safety is our top priority. This role involves a balance of office work and fieldwork, with approximately 50% of your time spent in each setting. Each Project Technologist will also be responsible for contributing to EVOTIX, our learning management system, by entering one Learning Event per month.
What You Will Bring
•A deep understanding of safety protocols in an industrial chemical environment and the proper handling of radioactive materials. Radiation Training will be provided by Tracerco.
•Basic knowledge of mass transfer fundamentals and key components of industrial process plants, such as heat exchangers, piping systems, separation vessels, and storage tanks.
•Proficiency in using our equipment and preparing all necessary tools for job sites, including offshore production facilities and vessels.
•The ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on equipment.
•Strong relationships with suppliers who can provide equipment, repairs, and other essential services.
Qualifications
•You have post-secondary education, such as some college coursework, an Associate’s degree, or certification in Industrial, Technical, or Electronics-related fields.
•You bring previous experience or a background in a technical or industrial field.
•Your work history is solid, and you have a strong technical and mechanical aptitude.

•You are proficient in computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
•Your communication and interpersonal skills are excellent, and you are customer service oriented.
•You excel in verbal, written, and technical report writing in English.
•You are a quick learner, trustworthy, and reliable.
•You can follow rules and instructions with minimal supervision and work independently effectively and efficiently.
•You are detail-oriented and thorough.
•You are willing to travel overnight, sometimes on short notice, and participate in a weekend on-call rotation.
•You hold a valid passport or can obtain one for occasional international assignments.
•You are legally authorized to work in Canada for any employer without requiring visa sponsorship.
•You can pass pre-employment verification processes.
