Compensation based on experience and skills ranging from $55,000-$65,000 per year
Objective: The Sales Administrator role for the sales department is a critical position that requires independent work, thoughtful planning and effective decision making. This is a role in which you will participate in the financial transactional side of sales projects including customers and vendors. It will also demand collaboration and cooperation with many internal and external partners.
Key Functions: Sales Department Sales Administration
•Review and understanding of the sales project process.
•Sales cost understanding of inventory, deposits and transactions.
•Cost ownership of a project from inception to close out.
•Creating, processing, and organizing documents as related to each project.
•Keeping up to date accounting and cost analysis for assigned projects.
•Process purchase orders and invoices.
•Interaction with corporate accounting and credit teams.
•Reporting on health of projects including backlog and forecasting.
•Frequent reporting to management base on assigned KPI and metrics.
Communication:
•Open communication with sales managers, project managers, credit department, accounts payable, accounts receivable.
•Proactive communication with vendors and project managers to ensure all project data is accurate and consistent.
•Attend department meetings regularly.
•Understand and respond to customer’s sense of urgency evidenced by consistent and timely communication.
•Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service when dealing with customers (internal & external).
•Actively work with key stakeholders to resolve issues or to discuss concerns.
Qualifications:
•Proven ability to communicate effectively.
•High level of productivity output while maintaining quality.
•Microsoft 365 knowledge required.
•Excel proficiency with data sets and lookup tables
•Ability to multi-task and prioritize demands.
•Respond effectively to changes in workload, schedules, and environment.
Education and Experience Requirements:
•Degree/coursework in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
•Business or Finance background, recommended.
•Accounting and Inventory control concept knowledge
