What we're looking for
We are seeking a Senior Transportation Project Manager to lead a team in design and plan preparation for roadway, highway, and freeway improvement projects in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties.
Who you are
•Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
•10-15 years of Transportation/Public Works experience.
•California Professional Engineer (PE) license.
A bonus if you have
•Knowledge of regulatory issues and key players in the Inland Empire and Coachella Valley.
•Positive relationships with City, County, and State agencies.
•Demonstrated supervisory and mentoring skills.
•Proficient in writing and presentation skills.
•Entrepreneurial spirit to grow our Transportation practice.
•Strong engineering judgment and problem-solving skills.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Flexibility to work from home or office as required.
What you'll do
•Strategic positioning for major highway or roadway projects.
•Handle client relationships and guide service application.
•Identify and win new work with local clients.
•Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
•Lead and review project delivery teamwork.
•Mentor and develop staff.
•Lead proposal development and negotiations.
•Offer technical advice and long-term strategizing.
•Develop trusted adviser relationships with key clients.
•Ensure successful contracting and project execution.
COMPENSATION
The expected salary range for this position is $140,000-$204,000. This will be dependent on the experience and expertise of the incoming candidate. This role is also eligible for a discretionary bonus based upon corporate and individual performance.
