We’re looking for a Project Manager who shares our passion for delivering outstanding customer service and has a strong background in project management within the sub-metering, utilities, or building technology sectors.
What You’ll Do:
As a Project Manager at VIP Meter Services, you’ll be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, from initiation to completion, while ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications.
•Lead and oversee sub-metering projects from planning to implementation, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
•Manage communication with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, ensuring everyone is aligned and up to date on project progress.
•Coordinate cross-functional teams including field technicians, engineers, and administrative support, to execute project tasks.
•Track project timelines and budgets, identifying potential risks and adjusting strategies as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
•Prepare and maintain project documentation, including scope of work, progress reports, and project close-out documentation.
•Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards, including Measurement Canada accreditation requirements.
•Oversee the installation and commissioning of sub-metering systems, ensuring all meters and components meet the highest quality standards.
•Troubleshoot and resolve project-related issues that may arise, ensuring minimal disruption to timelines and client satisfaction.
•Foster relationships with clients by providing excellent customer service and regular project updates.
What We’re Looking For:
•Experience: 3 years in project management, ideally in the sub-metering, utilities, construction, or technology industries.
•Education: A bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or a related field.
•Project Management Certification: PMP or other project management certifications are a plus.
•Technical Knowledge: Understanding of sub-metering, electrical meters, or building automation technologies.
•Problem-solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and navigate project challenges efficiently.
•Communication: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across various departments and with clients.
•Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects at once and maintain accurate project records.
•Attention to Detail: Ensuring precision in all aspects of project execution, from meter installations to reporting.
