Job Summary:
The Project Manager will oversee the coordination, execution, and delivery of residential solar projects. This includes managing schedules, materials, crews, and client communication. You’ll work cross-functionally with sales, design, engineering, and installation teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
•Manage multiple solar installation projects simultaneously from contract to PTO (Permission to Operate).
•Create and maintain project schedules and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
•Coordinate with warehouse and procurement teams to monitor inventory and material readiness.
•Act as the primary point of contact for homeowners during the construction phase.
•Supervise and support field crews, subcontractors, and internal technicians.
•Conduct job site visits to monitor progress, ensure safety compliance, and resolve issues.
•Track project costs, budgets, and change orders.
•Maintain detailed documentation and project reporting in CRM/project management tools.
•Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
•3+ years of experience in project management at a solar EPC.
•Strong knowledge of residential solar installation process, materials, and timelines.
•Experience with inventory and warehouse management.
•Ability to manage field teams and subcontractors effectively.
•Proficient in project management software, CRMs, and spreadsheets.
•Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
•Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Job Location: This role requires you to be in our Hayward office everyday and you will have to travel to job sites frequently.
