Seeking an experienced Project Manager that has a proven track record in project management of large, complex water/waste-water infrastructure projects, working successfully with a multi-disciplined project team.
Qualifications:
•Requires minimum 3 years' experience as a Project Manager with focus on heavy civil construction
•Must be able to pass a background check
•Must be able to pass a motor vehicle records check
•Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
•Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related discipline is preferred

Job Description:
1. Perform leadership, management, and create an environment for accountability.
•Leadership: Provide vision, clarity, and openings for direct reports aligned with company vision.
•Management: Provide quarterly priorities and measurables for each direct report aligned to company priorities and Scorecard.
•Accountability: Maintain and deepen connections with each direct report, having quarterly conversations around performance to company core values and position roles.
•Ensure direct reports have resources, training, and other needed assets to successfully execute their roles.
•Hire, coach, provide feedback to maximize employee engagement.
•When necessary, recommend employee discipline and termination per HR process.
2. Execute Successful Projects
•Coordinate with project superintendent for manpower, equipment, and compliance to safety and quality requirements.
•Coordinate with project superintendent concerning manpower and equipment.
•Read budgets and track performance.
•Execute work to meet budget targets.
•Communicate time, budget, safety with superintendents and VP of Operations.
•Ensure competitive outsourcing.
3. Solve Project Problems
•Proactively ensure timely material, availability, and delivery.
•Coordinate with quality control and verify quality control standards are executed.
•Coordinate with project superintendent to solve subcontractor issues.
•Coordinate with VP on any major problems.
4. Follow the PM Processes
•Follow VanCon process handbook.
5. Maintain Great Relations w/ Project Customers
•Communicate effectively with project customers.
•Proactively solve issues with project owner.
•Ensure no surprises to project owner.
•Ensure schedules are met.
•Initiate and maintain supplier/subcontractor relationships.
