Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery and financial management of earthworks and utility infrastructure projects. You will play a key role in ensuring project profitability, contractual compliance, and client satisfaction from tender through completion.
Key Responsibilities:
•Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of multiple infrastructure projects, focusing on earthworks, drainage, sewer, water, and utility installations.
•Work closely with project managers, estimators, site teams, and clients to ensure accurate forecasting and cost control.
•Prepare and review MSA contracts and subcontracts
•Identify and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
•Provide detailed monthly cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and valuation submissions.
•Manage procurement schedules, supplier negotiations, and subcontractor relationships.
•Ensure timely and accurate invoicing, payment applications, and change management.
•Support the bid and tender process by contributing to pricing strategies, scope clarifications, and commercial documentation.
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
•Associate's degree in construction management or a related discipline.
•Minimum 3 years' experience in a commercial or project management role
•Proven track record of managing the commercial aspects of earthworks or infrastructure projects.
Skills & Knowledge:
•Strong understanding of civil engineering and utility installation.
•Excellent financial, analytical, and negotiation skills.
•Strong stakeholder communication and conflict resolution abilities.
•Proficient in Microsoft Excel and commercial management tools
