Job Title: Project Manager – Residential Remodeling

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to oversee residential remodeling projects from initial planning through final completion. The ideal candidate will possess both strong construction knowledge and proven project or team management experience. This role requires an adaptable, communicative leader who can drive results, manage schedules and budgets, and foster strong relationships with team members, subcontractors, and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
•Project Oversight: Manage multiple remodeling projects from pre-construction through punch list completion, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
•Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain professional and responsive communication to ensure client satisfaction.
•Scheduling & Coordination: Create, update, and manage construction schedules. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal staff to maintain workflow.
•Budget & Resource Management: Monitor project costs, approve invoices, and identify opportunities for savings without compromising quality.
•Team Leadership: Provide direction to field crews and subcontractors. Know when to delegate and when to take full control to keep a project on track.
•Problem Solving: Anticipate and resolve project conflicts, scope changes, and timeline issues. Address confrontation with professionalism and clarity.
•Compliance & Quality: Ensure all work meets company standards, local codes, and safety regulations. Conduct quality checks and site visits.
•Documentation: Maintain detailed records, including contracts, change orders, daily logs, and communication logs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
•Minimum 5 years of experience in residential remodeling or related construction field.
•Minimum 2 years of project management or team leadership experience.
•Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
•Strong understanding of residential construction practices, trades, and sequencing.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
•Ability to adapt quickly and shift focus as priorities change.
•Confident in leading teams and handling conflict directly and constructively.
•Proficiency with project management tools and software (e.g., Buildertrend, CoConstruct, Microsoft Project, or similar).
•Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
•Experience working directly with homeowners.
•Familiarity with permitting and inspection processes.
