Job Summary: The Project Manager, Industrial Construction oversees all aspects of General Contracting projects, including estimating, execution, and successful delivery. This position is responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards and safety compliance. The role serves as the primary liaison between clients and the company, requiring strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple resources effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
•Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. Review drawings and prepare estimates for new bids and proposals.
•Manage all aspects of project execution including material procurement, coordination of resources, cost control, and budget forecasting to ensure projects meet milestones.
•Oversee project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular updates to senior management and clients.
•Lead and directly support crew supervisors, facilitating communication and collaboration while mitigating risks and addressing issues promptly.
•Manage subcontractor relationships throughout the projects, including identification of needs, solicitation and evaluation of bids, scheduling, and performance oversight.
•Maintain safe work environments by enforcing safety standards and procedures; ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and legal regulations.
•Conduct regular project site visits to monitor progress, quality, safety and schedule adherence. Participate in client meetings to address concerns proactively.
•Create and maintain open communication channels with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project transparency.
•Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and methodologies to enhance organizational reputation and project outcomes.
•Ensure proper maintenance of company vehicles, equipment, and resources assigned to project teams.
•Review and approve timecards and crew reports. Provide performance feedback for direct reports as needed.
Work Environment & Schedule:
•Overnight travel will be required to effectively manage projects and sites.
•Company standard work hours are Monday-Thursday, 10-hour days.
•Work hours and travel may vary depending upon project needs.
•Working outside will be required regularly in various weather conditions.

Qualifications & Requirements:
•7+ years of experience in Commercial/Industrial Construction project management required, 10+ years preferred.
•Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
•PMP or relevant project management certification preferred.
•Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
•Excellent communication skills, leadership abilities, and attention to detail.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, and construction management software.
•Extensive knowledge of general contracting and various construction disciplines.
•Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
