The Hydaker-Wheatlake Company is currently seeking a Project Manager to join our growing team.
Essential Job Functions:
•Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, and budgets, considering regulatory requirements and industry standards.
•Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals and objectives.
•Allocate and manage resources efficiently, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
•Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of necessary resources.
•Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and financial forecasts.
•Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising safety or quality.
•Enforce safety regulations and ensure that all project activities adhere to safety standards.
•Act as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
•Provide regular project updates and address concerns promptly.
•Identify and assess potential risks associated with projects and implement strategies to mitigate them.
•Monitor and enforce quality standards for all project deliverables.
•Oversee contract compliance and ensure that projects align with contractual obligations.
•Manage change orders and negotiate contracts as needed.
•Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, and project records.
•Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
•Provide guidance and support to team members throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred or equivalent experience.
•Proven experience as a Project Manager in the utility industry.
•Knowledge of utility construction methods, regulations, and industry standards.
•Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
