The PM I provides project management services on smaller internal and Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) in addition to providing project planning support to Project Managers on other complex projects. This position builds key relationships with various departments and vendors in order to provide solutions resulting optimizing asset functionality, conditions, and operations. The PM I must be able to understand priorities while also being flexible to ensure project success.
- Relevant Bachelor's degree and 3 years of relevant experience. Combination of education and years of experience may count in lieu of Bachelor's degree.

- Coordinates with stakeholders defining project scope and direction, planning resource needs, and budgeting for smaller CIP and/ or internal projects.
- Defines and coordinates activities on projects including interacting with consultants, developers, builders/contractors, and internal/external customers.
- Conducts meetings with project team to communicate updates and discuss challenges, providing clear communication for appropriate next steps.
- Monitors and identifies trends in data identifying solutions and/or vulnerabilities.
- Recommends new and efficient methods or solutions on projects.
- Communicates and ensures various deliverables occur within project on time, on schedule, and within budget.
- Maintains a variety of project controls including task orders, contract/scope changes, project setup sheets, bid documents, financial performance, close-outs, and other miscellaneous aspects of the project.
- Tracks project status and financial data through various databases, spreadsheets, and other software.
- Compiles and prepares detailed monthly documents related to project progress, financials, and performance. Also compiles and prepares annual documents required for capital planning and financial reporting.
- Reviews and ensures validity of deliverables from consultants including review of engineering plans, specifications, and contracts.
- Plans and coordinates various project review and pre-submittal meetings.
- Acts as the point of contact on various projects to ensure deadlines, schedule, financials, and tasks are assigned accordingly.
- May participate in monthly and annual planning process.
- Prepares various documents and agreements for construction and maintenance.
- Promotes and ensures projects adhere to quality standards for optimizing assets.
- Analyzes quality reporting measures.
- Reports to management and/or Project Manager on quality issues, trends, and losses.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, handle, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, and effectively communicate. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
