Leads and drive the successful development and execution of multi-discipline, capital projects in support of business requirements at NV Energy’s general office and operation center locations throughout the state of Nevada. A project manager is expected to directly manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
Leads the development of project plans, including project scope, cost estimates, schedule, cash flows, and approvals including consideration for safety, environment, land use, regulation, human resources, communication, procurement, quality, and risk.
Manages the development of the project team including consultants, stakeholders and internal functional group members as the project requires.
Works with internal customers and stakeholders to translate customer requirements into an actionable scope of work, evaluate alternatives and finalize an approved project scope.
Coordinates procurement, negotiation, execution and administration of construction contracts with general contractors and other consultants.
Executes approved project plans. Coordinates acquisition of resources, equipment, permits. Manages and controls the project, including safety, scope, cost, schedule, quality and risk. Measures and communicates project performance to stakeholders. Manages changes to the project plan. Ensures all project objectives are achieved.
Coordinates project close-out, including final acceptance of project deliverables; project accounting audit and true-up; and final project report.
Ensures all compliance aspects of position are known and followed; understands and complies with all policies, codes and regulations applicable to position and company.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school in engineering, construction management, project management or related field with five (5) or more years of project management and/or construction experience.
Candidates that do not possess a bachelor’s degree must have a minimum of 9 years of project management experience.

Work Environment and Physical Demands
General office environment, outdoor utility yard and greenfield land environments. Will require project site visits and out of town travel. No special physical demands required.
Annual Salary: $90,200 (Min) to $106,200 (Mid); Up to 12% Short Term Incentive Plan target opportunity at the discretion of the company. This is a non-represented position.
