ENMAX is seeking a Project Manager to oversee and manage multiple externally driven customer projects and programs within our Power Delivery capital plan. In this role, you’ll work on a wide range of customer-driven initiatives, including new electrical services, distribution feeders, street and traffic lighting, and infrastructure modifications, helping to maintain and transform Calgary’s electrical grid. The ideal candidate is comfortable conducting field visits, serving as the primary point of contact for customers, and providing regular progress reporting. Success in this position requires a solutions-oriented mindset, exceptional customer service, and the ability to communicate and influence effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Execute projects/programs within the Power Delivery capital plan and manage the cost, quality, schedule, and scope of concurrent, multi-stakeholder customer driven projects.
- Serve as the project representative for customers, providing a single point of contact.
- Provide regular progress reporting including financial forecasting, variance explanations, schedule, safety, quality and risk status.
- Based on best information, expert judgement and risk assessments, provide financial forecasting including capital expenditures, contribution in aid of construction and capital additions with annual and monthly granularity.
- Maintain a high level of communication with the customer and strive for the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
- Leverage leadership skills to maintain co-operative, motivated, and successful teams to deliver on requirements.
- Resolve cross-functional issues impacting performance and escalate as needed.
- Develop and maintain optimal execution strategies and document within execution plans.
- Ensure process adherence and lifecycle requirements are met from initiation, through design, construction, commissioning, and close-out.
- Provide support to the management team for implementing process changes and improvements.
- Manage and execute Maximo work order statuses and project procurement processes.
- A technical or related diploma from a recognized post-secondary institute is required.
- An appropriate combination of technical education and experience may also be considered.
- PMP designation is required (commitment to obtain in short order is acceptable).
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive Project Engineering, Project Management, or related experience in the execution of relevant projects.
- Leads, coaches, and motivates teams while fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Communicates and influences effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrates a solutions-oriented approach, showing resourcefulness and creativity in overcoming challenges and delivering results.
- Maintains a proven customer service mindset, dedicated to high levels of satisfaction through proactive engagement and responsive problem-solving.
- Applies expert judgment and analytical skills to resolve cross-functional issues, drive continuous improvement, and adapt strategies to evolving project and organizational needs.

Location: This role will be part of our hybrid (home and office) work force with office workspace located at ENMAX Place (141 - 50th Avenue SE, Calgary, AB). You will work from home on Mondays and Fridays and in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
