Trans Mountain Corporation operates Canada’s only pipeline system transporting oil products to the West Coast. We deliver approximately 890,000 barrels of petroleum products each day through a dual pipeline system of more than 1,150 kilometres of pipeline in Alberta, British Columbia and Washington state.

As a

Project Management Office, Co-Op Student (12 months)

with Trans Mountain, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and fast-paced group of Project Management experts. The successful candidate will also be exposed to real-world project delivery models and gain experience supporting cross-functional teams in a regulated infrastructure environment.

This opportunity is open to post-secondary students who are currently enrolled in their 2nd/3rd year of studies and part of a Co-op or Internship Program.

The position will begin in January 2026 with a term-length of 12 months. Key Responsibilities:

- Help maintain and update PMO tools, templates, and SharePoint resources, including the PMO Hub, Project Applicability and Scalability Tools, and risk registers.

- Support the preparation of Project Controls reports and related initiatives.

- Assist in compiling PMO status reports and monitoring performance metrics.

- Gather and analyze data to identify trends and provide input for decision-making.

- Support cross-functional teams in assessing Gate Readiness by reviewing the status of Gate Deliverables and Gate Decision Packages.

- Aid in Gate Facilitation activities and in documenting findings from Gate Reviewers.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO processes and templates to ensure consistency.


Qualifications and Professional Experience:

- Must be enrolled in undergraduate degree, preferably in Business, or related program with an accredited post-secondary institution.

- Common knowledge of Microsoft systems (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/SharePoint).

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.

- Must be flexible and adaptable to change.

- Must be a team player with a positive attitude.

- Self-motivated, capable of performing tasks with minimal supervision.

- Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Attention to detail is critical.

- Ability to work well under pressure and handle strict deadlines.

The expected pay range for this position is

$22.23

to

$27.99

CAD per hour.
