About the role:
Brinkman Construction has an exciting opportunity for a Project Executive to join our team, providing decisive and accountable leadership for multiple project teams in our Operations group. This role involves both managing and directing project teams and actively contributing to the execution of key deliverables. The ideal candidate will take ownership of critical tasks, working hands-on throughout all project phases, from pursuit to completion, while fostering collaboration and guiding the team's efforts.
Essential Functions:
•The Project Executive must possess strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to delegate, hold others accountable, and contribute directly to project goals.
•Identify and resolve project-related concerns while ensuring Brinkman standards for execution, quality, and profitability are met.
•Deliver projects on or before contractual completion dates, exceeding client, owner, and company expectations.
•Foster a collaborative environment with subcontractors, vendors, and project teams.
•Mentor team members, providing career guidance and ensuring project learning goals are achieved.
•Leverage in-depth knowledge of contracts to guide project success and execute complex, high-risk negotiations.
•Seek and identify business opportunities with strong regional market knowledge and sales/closing skills.
•Provide direction to multiple project teams, supporting Project Managers while maintaining oversight of risks and key details.
•Conduct final reviews of financial forecasts, understanding buyout status, risk factors, and profit fluctuations.
•Maintain awareness of project status, including schedule, costs, and technical issues, while identifying overlooked risks.
•Implement and leverage technologies like Building Information Models (BIM) and Lean practices to enhance projects.
•Communicate clear visions and strategies to achieve successful outcomes for individuals and projects.
•Support company-wide initiatives, strategic planning, and tasks that benefit Brinkman Construction.
•Recruit and develop young talent, manage staffing requirements, and contribute to BCI’s strategic business plan.
•Demonstrate accountability, integrity, and sound decision-making under pressure.
Requirements:
Education and Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field, or equivalent experience.
•Experienced construction professionals with 12+ years in construction industry, including 10+ years as a Project Manager overseeing projects for a General Contractor.
•10+ years of leadership/management experience.
•10+ years of experience in a lead role with a variety of ground-up product types – including Medical, Manufacturing, General Commercial, Industrial, Multifamily.
•Proficiency using Microsoft suite of applications and project management applications.
•Current driver’s license which has been valid for the past 12 consecutive months.

Salary: Starting at $140,000 annually. Salary is commensurate with technical skills and experience.
