Job Summary:
The Project Manager must be thoroughly familiar with all aspects of pavement markings. This position will require someone with a high technical field knowledge to manage crews, equipment, materials and scheduling. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing day-to-day operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Process Optimization: Identify and analyze current business processes, recommend, and implement improvements to increase efficiency, to reduce costs, and to enhance the customer experience.
•Vendor Management: Negotiate with vendors and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services while optimizing costs.
•Schedule manpower and equipment to maximize efficiency.
•Cooperate with clients, contractors, engineers, planners, and other team members.
•Self-motivated with the ability to mentor team members as appropriate.
•Ensure the project is constructed as per plan/design, budget, resources, quality and schedule.
•Travel to customer sites as necessary for meetings, lay-out verification, resolving customer/field issues and quality control.
•Participate in project meetings and presentations, both internal and external, throughout all project phases.
•Communicate clear performance expectations to ensure project productivity, quality and safety.
•Promote professional and courteous service, observing all Company policies
Required Skills/Abilities:
•4 or more years’ experience in the highway construction industry.
•Ability to analyze and interpret construction plans and specifications.
•Excellent Organization, negotiation and time-management skills.
•Possess a valid driver’s license.
•Communicate efficiently and effectively (written, telephone, in person).
•Ability to represent the company in a courteous and professional manner.
•Ability to embrace and champion the company Purpose, Vision, Mission, and Values.
