Project Engineer Co-Op/Intern

A Project Engineer Co-Op/Intern at Mosaic will be assigned to capital projects focusing on improving facility infrastructure and product delivery. Full time Co-Op/Internship. Typically, 36-40 hours a week on site.

What will you do?
Day to day work assignments assigned by the supervisor and could include:
•Develop, Evaluate, and Formulate Solutions: Focus on improving the quality of mining processes.
•Hands-on Involvement: Participate in cutting-edge operations technology projects.
•Safety and Environmental Standards: Learn about engineering workflows and standards.
•Collaborate on Developing Operator Visuals,
•Behavioral Safety and Environmental Observation Processes: Gain exposure to Mosaic's processes.
•Communication: Interact with various levels of personnel throughout the organization, including management, plant operators, engineers (of various disciplines), and contractors.
•Participation in Meetings: Attend department meetings and meetings specific to the project assignment.
•Adhering to Mosaic’s mission, guiding principles and priorities, and key competencies
What do you need for this role?
•1-2 years of experience volunteering, working with student/school organizations, or work is preferred.
•Previous internship or co-op experience is preferred.
•Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license - You will need to be able to travel to and from sites and/or office.
•Ability to work full time and be a student in standing at the time of the co-op/internship
•Selected candidates will be required to successfully complete the following: Post-offer/pre-placement drug and alcohol screening, background check, physical, functional capacity examination.
•Basic computer skills are required.
•Experience working in a team environment is a must.
•Familiarity with an industrial environment is highly desirable.
•Effective verbal communication skills is a plus.
•Physical work environment is occasionally outdoors with exposure to varying degrees of hot and cold environments.
