Project Engineer IV

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical engineering and demonstrate proficiency in various engineering software and tools. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement innovative solutions for our projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and client specifications.

Duties

- Design and develop mechanical systems using CAD software such as SolidWorks and Creo.

- Create detailed schematics and drafting documents to support project requirements.

- Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for system automation and control.

- Conduct system design evaluations, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible for production.

- Implement LabVIEW for data acquisition and instrument control in project testing.

- Perform simulations using MATLAB to analyze system performance and optimize designs.

- Oversee CNC machining processes to ensure precision in manufactured components.

- Provide technical support during the manufacturing process, troubleshooting any issues that arise.

Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.

- Proficiency in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks and Creo, is essential.

- Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and LabVIEW is highly desirable.

- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in manufacturing processes.

- Familiarity with drafting techniques and schematic creation is beneficial.

- Previous experience in system design and analysis using MATLAB is preferred.

- Knowledge of CNC operations will be an advantage.
