Project Engineer II - Hydraulic Modeler

Position summary: A career-minded Water/Wastewater Hydraulic Modeler, looking towards advancement, is needed to join JMT’s fast growing Water/Wastewater consultant engineering practice. The selected employee will be responsible for leading the engineering engineering tasks and projects in the water/wastewater field through working knowledge of applicable design criteria, regulatory requirements, standards and processes; manage multiple projects, manage preparation and updating of project schedules; develop, analyze and document critical model elements; coordinate the efforts of a modeling team to determine requirements and incorporate feedback. The selected candidate will become part of an established team of engineers working on exciting sanitary sewer collection system and potable water distribution system hydraulic modeling projects in the Mid-Atlantic. Employees are expected to provide quality engineering evaluation and design services efficiently to support the project team’s objective and provide customer satisfaction on all projects, delivering projects of high quality on schedule and within budget.

Compensation for this position is $45-60/hour, commensurate with experience, education and certifications. The provided range is a good faith estimate based on the requirements described within the job description. Working Conditions:

Work is performed within a general office environment 95% of the time. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.

Field work is required on occasion where work may be conducted outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Some lifting (up to 25 lbs) may be required as needed.
