The Role:
We're in the market for a Project Engineer / Field Engineer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in construction or millwork engineering who enjoys being hands-on, solving complex challenges, and seeing projects through from the design table to final install.
This position does require occasional travel to job sites across the country.
What You’ll Be Up To:
•Coordinate with project managers, fabricators, designers, and installers to ensure successful execution of commercial millwork projects
•Produce and review shop drawings, analyze architectural plans, and translate design intent into fabrication-ready documentation
•Perform field verifications, gather site dimensions, and assess job site conditions
•Support fabrication teams with technical insight and resolve engineering issues as needed
•Track project progress, communicate updates, and help keep timelines and budgets on target
•Travel to job sites for walkthroughs, field checks, and coordination during key phases
What We’re Looking For:
•3+ years of experience in millwork, construction, or fabrication project engineering (commercial experience preferred)
•Skilled in AutoCAD (or similar CAD software); CNC knowledge is a plus
•Strong understanding of architectural drawings and construction documentation
•Excellent communicator with strong organizational skills and a proactive approach
•Comfortable working in both office and field environments
•Willingness and ability to travel as project needs require
