JOB SUMMARY
Oversees and manages both local and remote facility projects at ITC Facilities. Responsible for creating and maintaining AutoCAD drawings, designing furniture layouts, assisting with move management, and coordinating with contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management:
Oversees local and remote construction projects at ITC Facilities, ensuring all work is completed according to contract specifications and within budget.
CAD Drawings:
Creates detailed AutoCAD drawings and design furniture layouts for various projects.
Move Management:
Assists with move management, coordinating logistics and ensuring smooth transitions.
Contractor Coordination:
Meets with contractors to analyze the scope of work, establish schedules, and oversee/monitor contractors during the execution of projects.
Invoice Review:
Reviews and approves invoices to verify that materials were received and services were provided according to contracts and purchase orders; authorize related invoice payments.
Budget Management:
Manages Capital and Operations & Maintenance projects by formulating budgets, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and preparing purchase orders and material requests for approval.
Department Collaboration
: Collaborates with all departments to plan upcoming space needs and ensure alignment with project goals.
Customer Service:
Provides excellent customer service and perform duties with minimal supervision.
Furniture Systems Knowledge:
Understands how furniture systems are assembled and how data and electrical components integrate.
Facility Review:
Reviews floor plans of existing facilities to maintain standards and compliance with building codes.
Drawing Updates:
Collaborates with architecture and engineering firms to keep all drawing as-builts up to date.
Day-to-Day Operations:
Performs additional tasks as needed to support the overall goals of the facilities team.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in interior design or at least 5 years of experience in corporate office space planning and design.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in facilities project management preferred.
Willingness to travel for project work within Michigan and out of state.
Proficiency in AutoCAD software and furniture layout design.
Strong organizational and move management skills.
Excellent project management skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong understanding and practical experience using core applications within Microsoft Office, including:
Microsoft Excel: Managing and analyzing data, including skills in creating and using formulas and functions.
Microsoft PowerPoint: Creating and delivering presentations.
