We’re currently seeking a Project Coordinator, working either at our corporate office in Union City, CA, or at our manufacturing plant in Fontana, CA. The Project Coordinator works with all internal departments to process customer orders, large and small, simple and complex, managing orders from production through delivery.
As a Project Coordinator, you’ll support the sales team and customers in a designated territory/ You’ll provide coordinator between clients, production, accounting, and sales teams through the timely exchange of information and resolution of requests via telephone, email, and CRM/ERP programs. You’ll work directly with clients, including landscape architects, designers, general contractors, and our national distributor network. You’ll be required to travel occasionally to our other facilities. You’ll have a direct hand in accomplishing our #1 goal – a successful project in every way.
- Process various types of product orders into ERP system (NetSuite)
- Update customer orders, track changes, and ensure all information is recorded accurately across all platforms
- Answer inbound calls and email, answering customer questions related to product or purchase orders
- Review orders with appropriate personnel, internal and external, to confirm color and texture
- Approval verification
- Leadtime coordination with production groups
- Coordinate payment from customers on behalf of accounting
- Delivery and tracking of orders
- Coordination of freight arrangements and delivery notifications
- Research internal and external customer inquiries and provide problem resolution using the most up to date information, technology, and resources regarding orders
- Provide individualized customer service with high quality and professional standards
- Progress Reporting - Communicate concise status updates to keep all stakeholders informed
- Provide back up support to other team members
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Strong organization and time-management skills to prioritize, delegate tasks and set goals for productivity
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Excellent interpersonal skills to create positive interactions with customers and team members.
- Ability to think quickly, research and troubleshoot to provide resolutions to customers
- Experience managing heavy call and email volume daily
- Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred
- Experience with NetSuite ERP highly desirable
- Ability to remain calm and in control, even when under pressure

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on tenure, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

The pay range for this role is:
26 - 34 USD per hour(Union City, CA)
24 - 29 USD per hour(Fontana, CA)
