We are currently looking for a Project Coordinator to join our team in Etobicoke, On.
Responsibilities
To assist Project Managers, as follows:
•Plan and manage the projects from start to finish as per schedule requirements.
•Prepare and maintain detailed construction schedules.
•Prepare project budget and subcontracts. Prepare and distribute subcontractor purchase orders.
•Assist with subcontractor contact, correspondence, and procurement.
•Monitor and track subcontractor insurance, licenses, approvals, signatures, requirements, and documentation.
•Manage, download, print and coordinate all drawings, specifications, addenda, updates, schedules, etc. to site.
•Manage submittal process, prepare log, approval coordination, documentation, and downloads.
•Prepare binder of approved submittals for all materials and deliver to job sites.
•Change orders - prepare, distribute, monitor and track - returned executed.
•Manage Change Order files and documentation.
•Follow up with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotations for RFCs, PCOs.
•Prepare and track RFIs, RFCs, PCOs, COs, site instructions and directions.
•Attend and document preconstruction meeting, Site Meetings and Post Construction meetings. Prepare and distribute meeting minutes and schedule updates.
•Prepare progress reports and issue progress schedules to clients.
•Prepare project billing by end of each month.
•Plan and complete project close-out documentation at completion phase.
•Tender pick-ups/drop-offs and site visits.
Business Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Location: Etobicoke, On
Reports to: Director of Operations
Qualifications
•Bachelor's or College degree in Project Management, Construction Management or equivalent experience.
•1-2 years of construction experience preferred.
•Familiarity with blueprints and ability to read plans.
•Strong multi-tasking ability.
•Exceptional organizational skills.
•Strong interpersonal skills.
•Excellent negotiating skills.
•Strong computer skills, emphasis on Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Excel.
