Position Description: Project Coordinator
Azimuth Engineering Group - Parsippany, NJ
Scope:
The Project Coordinator provides cross-functional support for the Project team to administer and organize activity throughout the lifecycle of a project. This includes (but is not limited to) interactions with clients, document control, database management, task and milestone tracking, and information validation.
Essential Job Functions:
Works in conjunction with Project Managers to understand the overall project timeline, and adjust as tasks are completed or re-forecasted
Coordinate project management activities, including but not limited to vendor management, document control, site access verification, milestone tracking, and information validation
Communicate issues to Project Managers and Directors in a clear, concise, and timely manner
Utilize reporting tools to meet daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly Key Performance Indicators
Monitor electronic files, databases, and team communications
Professionally communicate with clients, following up on outstanding items, and respond within a timely manner
Update internal financial records, including but not limited to Purchase Orders, Purchase Order Requests, and Vendor Purchase Orders, as well as regularly following up with clients on outstanding records
Enter and track all project-related data in a cloud-based platform according to company standards
Complete assignments of increased difficulty as proficiency increases
Other Duties:
Maintain continuous awareness and knowledge of the project status
Attend internal and external status meetings, as needed

Education and Experience:
A bachelors degree or relevant experience is required
Experience in engineering, telecommunications, wireless, construction, or a related industry is preferred
Project Management experience is a plus
Must be experienced with the Microsoft Office suite
Salesforce background/experience is preferred
