Job Overview
This role is perfect for the person who craves variety in their day to day activity. You will be managing projects in various stages of completion and at various locations. Maintaining professionalism while responding to our clients concerns to give our home owners the best experience possible will require you to be adaptable and a skilled communicator. Additionally, your attention to detail will be critical to documenting important information and tracking expenses for each of your projects. And most importantly being able to execute and complete tasks quickly and efficiently will be the recipe to your growth and success with in our company.
Responsibilities
•Maintain a sales and customer service focused attitude at all times. This includes when dealing with clients that have high expectations, are indecisive or have other challenging aspects of a job. You will never be asked to tolerate abusive behavior, but would be expected to handle challenging situations with professionalism.
•Perform inspections that may include physical demands such as climbing ladders, roof inspections, entering confined spaces like crawlspaces, or coming in contact with sewage.
•Identify and document scope of potential jobs, using detailed pictures and scope notes so that the estimator can accurately produce correct estimates.
•Writing supplements and adjusting sketches in different software programs including Xactimate, Core Logic (Symbility), and manually, as needed.
•Uploading pictures, documents and daily logs into various software systems including BuilderTrend, Xactanalysis, Symbility/Core Logic and others.
•Facilitate meetings with home owners, subcontractors and management team to gather requirements, discuss progress, and resolve issues.
•Detailed tracking of project expenses to stay within budget of each project.
•Assisting home owners with material selections
•Regularly managing between 7-20 different projects in various stages of completion.
•Consistently writing updates for insurance, management and home owners.
•Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication and coordination across all project phases.
•Monitor project deliverables to ensure they meet quality management standards.
•Support subcontractor efforts by providing guidance and assistance as needed.
•Take pictures and videos documenting our work that can be used for marketing.
•Assist in maintaining the shop in an organized manner.
•Assist with picking up and dropping off materials to jobsites, to the shop or to perform returns, as needed.
•Additional tasks may be required, and as an expanding company procedures may be fine tuned or adjusted to better serve you, our clients and the needs of the business.
Requirements
•Must have a valid drivers license and positive driving history
•Must be able to pass a background check as you will be working in people's homes
•Random Drug tests are required for some of our partnerships, must be able to pass a drug test and random screenings.
•Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs and carry up to 100 ft from time to time.
•Strong understanding of general construction and remodeling is preferred.
•Must be comfortable with regular use of technology including phones, laptops and multiple different apps.
•Experience with Xactimate and/or Symbility is preferred.
•Experience with Buildertrend is a plus but not required.
•Experience with project management is preferred.
•Experience with the insurance claim process is preferred.
•Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
•Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
•Fluent in English and Spanish is a preferred.
Salary Structure
•Base Salary is $55,000/year with less than one year of project management experience.
•$57,500 with 1+ year of similar role project management experience but no certifications
•$60,000/year with 1+ year of experience and verifiable Xact Level 1 certification
•$65,000/year with 3+ years of experience and verifiable certifications.
•$5,000 salary increase and bonus eligibility with favorable review after 90 days. Check in at 45 days to discuss progress.
•Salary Reviews held every 6 months based on individual and company performance (if we are doing good, we want you to be doing good too)
•Annual Retention Bonus that increases each year you stay employed
•Salary is paid bimonthly - on the 15th and last day of the month
•Eligible for 5 days of PTO, and 7 days of Unpaid time off per year after 90 days of employment. Flexible scheduling requests will be considered.

•We do not perform emergency on call services, so no getting out of bed at 2 am for a flood.

•After 30 days, you have access to use company truck for site visits and estimates. Before that, option of paid mileage or a $350 vehicle allowance
