Morgan Solar is a Toronto-based company developing innovative solar products, energy producing window coverings, solar performance monitoring and data management systems, and energy analysis software. The successful candidate will work with the delivery and sales teams to support execution from the delivery and commissioning stages onwards into the warranty and customer success phases.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills -
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Expertise with spreadsheets and other programs in the Microsoft and/or Google Productivity Suites (Word/Docs, Powerpoint/Slides, Excel/Sheets)
- Ability to work well both independently, and in collaboration with the team
- Ability to undertake independent research technical subject matter and effectively synthesize results
- Ability to manage a funnel of incoming tasks requests, prioritize and triage effectively and appropriately manage (internal and external) customer expectations.
- Ability to effectively negotiate prices and terms with suppliers
- Familiarity working with Hubspot or similar CRMs
- Experience communicating technical information to a range of audiences using text, charts and graphics
- Familiarity with solar energy technologies and economics
- Experience working in a fast-paced or startup environment
- Ability to travel to the United States
- Familiarity with principles of marketing, business development, sales and customer service
- Experience working in hardware and/or software-as-a-service (SaaS) commercial environments
- Experience with inventory tracking, purchasing, and supply chain coordination
- Ability to take meeting minutes and follow up on action items
