How You’ll Make an Impact

- Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, journal entries, and fixed assets

- Analyze project costs and conduct variance reviews with operations teams

- Prepare financial statements, management reports, and performance metrics

- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities

- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

- Drive process improvements using ERP systems and reporting tools

- Collaborate on audits and internal control initiatives

- Contribute to special projects and ad hoc financial analysis

- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines

Your Background

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings

- Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management

- Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel skills

- Solid understanding of US GAAP and internal controls

- Excellent analytical and communication skills

- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
