Project Consultant Position:
The Project Consultant represents the company to our customers in the market for sunrooms and deck additions. This role performs initial consultations and works closely with the Project Engineer to design, specify, and estimate projects. This role is the face of the project in presenting it to the customer, and works closely with the Project Engineer and Project Manager to build out materials lists, perform preconstruction meetings, and navigate changes throughout the project.
The Project Consultant will need a strong understanding of the products that make up sunrooms and decks from the foundation to the roof. In addition, they will need knowledge of color options, benefits of product types, application processes, and warranty options.
The Project Consultant will be seasoned in customer service and maintain a good follow-up system.
Project Consultant Duties and Responsibilities
•Prompt for the workday and appointments.
•Dress and present yourself as a well groomed, polished professional.
•Manage appointments well and adjust to schedule changes.
•Communicate in a timely manner with customers.
•Work closely with Project Engineer to ensure building code, historic district considerations, and engineering requirements are met.
•Prepare for customer presentations with samples, literature and presentation folders.
•Extensive knowledge of products and services.
•Follow job flow steps in CRM accurately.
•Attend product, service and quality assurance meetings and trainings.
Project Consultant Skill Requirements:
•Verbal and non-Verbal communication awareness and skill.
•Excellent grammar and punctuation.
•Skilled in computer operations such as Microsoft Word and CRM databases.
•Comfortable roof walking, measuring, and taking pictures.
•Tactful communication with customers and coworkers.
•Visualizing the finished project with the customer.
•Understanding of Valley Roofing finance options.
