Department Overview

Pole Reinforcement plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of California's electric service. We are responsible for reinforcing distribution and transmission poles, utilizing steel stubs, ensuring compliance with CA laws and PG&E standards. Using cutting-edge technology, we contribute to the commitment to providing safe and uninterrupted access to electricity. Our department is dedicated to environmental responsibility and safety, making it an essential component of our commitment to delivering quality service to our customers.

Position Summary

Manages aspects of program implementation and operations on the Pole Reinforcement program. Ensures program is operating effectively.

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and assigned location, subject to change per business needs.

PG&E is providing the salary range that can reasonably be expected for this position at the time of the job posting. This salary range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location. The decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.

A reasonable salary range is:

Minimum Base Salary (Bay Area) $ 122,000.00

Maximum Base Salary (Bay Area) $ 173,800.00

Job Responsibilities

Applies broad expertise and advanced knowledge to wide-ranging issues. May act as a team lead and provide direction to less experienced employees. Works with Directors and Managers across functions to influence decisions. Communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences using a variety of media. Integrates industry knowledge related to data into everyday business practices and decision making. Provides others with guidance around complex industry regulatory and compliance environment and considerations. Creates new and complex data models to facilitate business decisions. Provides direction on overall program. Performs in-depth quality assurance final reviews and contract drafts. Develops new or revises existing scopes of work to ensure compliance standards and deliverables are established. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

Minimum:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business. 8 years of related experience or equivalent

Desired:

Experience within Electric Operations Master’s degree preferred. PMP Certification. Advanced knowledge of Program Management. Ability to influence leaders inside and outside of the department through data analysis, insights and recommendations. Ability to lead large and complex projects working with cross-functional teams. Ability to create compelling business cases based on complex business environments and inputs. Adept at addressing issues with diplomacy and tact. Excellent negotiation skills. Primarily office environment with extensive use of personal computers, telephone conversations, conference calls and in person meetings.
