This position is responsible for planning and executing all aspects of projects, including managing office and field staff assigned to the project.
•Plan, organize, execute, and supervise general project surveying services.
•Develop and maintain positive client and internal company relationships.
•Ability to oversee, mentor and motivate a project team.
•Participate in estimating and formal proposal composition on survey projects for multiple service lines.
•Establish work plan and staffing needs for multiple large- and small-scale projects.
•Supervise, direct, or conduct office analysis to establish tract or parcel boundaries.
•Coordinate and supervise field staff. Be able to provide clear direction of project scope and expectations.
•Coordinate with office staff and provide quality control of preparation of project deliverables.
•Other duties as assigned.
•10+ years of boundary surveying and project execution experience.
•Requires a Professional Land Survey License (PLS), Surveyor In Training (SIT) license, CST III-IV certification or equivalent will be considered.
•Good working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D.
•When applicable, ability to supervise technical staff members and field crews.
•Ability to work under pressure, plan personal workload effectively, and delegate.
•Attention to detail, ability to multi-task.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality control standards.
•Eligible by education and experience to qualify for licensure as Professional Land Surveyor if not currently licensed.
•Ability to work autonomously and to collaborate fully as a team player.
•Ability to work in a team environment and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily.
•Ability to maintain regular attendance as per work schedule agreed with the manager (may require working an adjusted work schedule based on project assigned and work overtime if warranted).
•Ability to comply with applicable laws and regulations and Company policies and procedures.
