Position Summary:

This position will support commercial energy efficiency programs by performing outreach, recruitment and education activities with trade allies focusing on the HVAC, mechanical & Chiller markets. The position is responsible for* Promoting products and services through HVAC and mechanical trade allies/vendor channels in the assigned territory.

This is the intermediate level of the Trade Ally Outreach Representative classification hierarchy. Employees at this level solve more complex problems in business energy areas of specialization with general supervision. Employees are expected to develop advanced skills and the ability to work with greater independence. They effectively apply fundamental concepts and procedures to work that is fairly complex and varied. The purpose of the Trade Ally Outreach Representative is to develop relationships with vendors, introduce those vendors to Duke Energy Products and Services, and nurture the long-term relationship for further cross-sell opportunities as new products are available for the business markets. Basic/Required Qualifications:

Product & Services Specialist* Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Marketing or related degree.

Senior Product & Services Specialist* Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Marketing or related degree AND two (2) years related work experience.

Desired Qualifications:* 3+ years' experience working in the non-residential HVAC, mechanical, or Chiller space.
