Overview

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and the ability to work with different materials. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards. As a Welder, you will play a crucial role in fabricating and assembling metal structures, ensuring high-quality workmanship in every project.

Responsibilities

•

Perform welding tasks using various techniques including FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and soldering.

•

Work with sheet metal and other materials to fabricate components according to specifications.

•

Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements.

•

Ensure compliance with industry codes and standards throughout the welding process.

•

Utilize power tools and equipment.

•

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

•

Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining quality standards.

•

Operate overhead crane.

Requirements

•

Proven experience as a Welder or in a similar role within the manufacturing or construction industry.

•

Proficiency in various welding techniques including FCAW and soldering.

•

Familiarity with machining processes and the ability to read blueprints and technical documents.

•

Knowledge of industry codes and standards related to welding practices.

•

Experience with power tools is preferred.

•

Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.

•

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

•

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
