Purpose of Role: The Air Arc Operator role is located in the Heat Treat Department. This position is responsible for the quality aspects of the castings; including the removal of fins, contact notches and any other irregularities found on the castings. The Air Arc Operator is also responsible for removing sand or scale with a chipping gun, hammer or brush from work surface. Experience or knowledge of welding, arc rod and power tool is an asset in this role.

- Must be able to grasp an arc rod holder
- Must be able to pick up parts that weigh up to 1500 lbs. with the use of a hoist
- Must be able to stand on an average of 8 hours per day
- Follow work instructions and the ability to prioritize work

- Education: High School diploma/GED
- Skills & Abilities: Good reading, writing, general math and verbal skills
- Other Abilities: Previous welding experience an asset

Compensation: Starting from $18.30/hr with opportunity for increase based on performance.
