To lead and optimize commercial project execution by managing field operations, resources, personnel development, and systems that ensure profitable, high-quality, and on-time delivery. This role directly influences field culture, team development, and the future scalability of the Commercial Division.
- Serve as the primary safety culture leader in the Commercial Division, ensuring that all team members understand, follow, and internalize job site safety protocols.
- Enforce company-wide safety standards with zero tolerance for negligence.
- Conduct regular safety audits, toolbox talks, and job hazard analyses.
- Ensure all field crews meet OSHA compliance standards and project-specific safety requirements.
- Partner with internal safety officers and third-party consultants as needed to reinforce safe practices.
- Investigate all incidents or near-misses thoroughly and implement corrective actions immediately.

· Serve as the cultural and operational backbone for the Field Superintendent team—modeling high performance, clear communication, and professional excellence.
· Proactively identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks and implement systems-based solutions.
· Contribute strategic input to executive leadership to improve division-wide performance and profitability.
· Supervise and mentor Field Superintendents and foremen, with regular coaching, training, and performance reviews.
· Establish career progression paths and training programs for all field personnel.
· Foster an environment of accountability, ownership, and proactive problem solving.
· Conduct in-field preconstruction meetings and weekly site walks to maintain direct visibility on progress.
· Ensure all projects are executed according to schedule, budget, and quality standards.
· Coordinate closely with Project Coordinators and Estimators to align labor and material needs.
· Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and shop drawings to ensure accurate execution of scope, sequencing, and compliance with specifications.
· Must be proficient with or willing to quickly adopt Trackvia, our company-wide digital operations platform. Able to manage tasks, reporting, scheduling, and communication within a centralized system.
· Leverage construction technology (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, Microsoft Project, or equivalent) to create, maintain, and communicate detailed production schedules across all commercial projects.
· Ensure field teams have real-time access to up-to-date schedules and understand their deliverables and deadlines.
· Possess an advanced understanding of all exterior cladding systems and general building science, including weather management, material compatibility, and sequencing.
· Demonstrate expertise in products such as: Weather and Air Barriers, Stucco (Lath, Hard-Coat, Finish), Fiber Cement, ACM Panels, Aluminum Siding, Brick, CMU, Aluminum Soffit, Rain Gutters, Deck Coatings & Waterproofing.
· Maintain a deep understanding of construction and personnel-related risks.
· Implement strategies to prevent sequencing issues, workmanship failures, safety violations, and HR-related risks.
· Apply proactive personnel management to avoid morale breakdowns, turnover, or conflict.
· Manage labor and materials across multiple job sites, optimizing budget, schedule, and quality.
· Use cost control tools and forecasting to minimize overruns.
· Enforce and improve SOPs, quality controls, and workflow systems.
· Conduct post-project reviews to continually refine practices.
· Ensure timely, professional communication with clients and internal teams.
· Represent the Commercial Division as a responsive and reliable partner.
· Comfortable leading in a fully digital environment using tools such as Trackvia, Microsoft Teams, GroupMe, and email to drive communication, documentation, and accountability.

· Standard work hours begin at 6:00 AM, Monday through Friday, with the expectation of early site presence to lead field operations effectively.
· Weekend work may be required based on project needs or critical milestones; flexibility is essential as business needs evolve.
· Must be available for occasional after-hours calls or site visits to address urgent issues or ensure project continuity.
· This role requires frequent in-person presence at job sites across active commercial projects.
· Works closely with Human Resources to support recruiting, performance management, safety compliance, and field team development.
· This is a high-visibility leadership role requiring consistent communication with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
