MGM Energy is a contractor specializing in HVAC, plumbing, Electrical, and insulation services. We also participate in the Energy Saving Assistance Program sponsored by Southern California Edison, Southern California Gas Company, Southwest Gas, and Bear Valley Electric.
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to oversee our production team. This position requires daily on-site presence to plan, coordinate, schedule, and inspect work, ensuring that the highest quality standards are met. Strong leadership skills are essential, along with the ability to balance quality and production with efficient execution.
- Manage the daily operations of various company projects, ensuring optimal efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to employees, including assisting with hiring, training, employee discipline, scheduling, setting work priorities, conducting staff meetings, evaluating performance, and overseeing work assignments to ensure effective operations.
- Coach and motivate the team to maximize productivity; train and develop Technicians to enhance their skills.
- Provide technical support to the field through various communication methods, including email and phone.
- Review and audit paperwork daily.
- Ensure all equipment is in proper operating condition, maintaining the high quality appearance of vehicles and tools.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints to ensure satisfaction.
- Review payroll records to confirm accurate employee payments.
- Supervise and train production staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and productivity.
- Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. -
- Identify and implement best practices and process improvements to streamline workflows.
- Monitor and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) for continuous improvement and accountability.
- Oversee service delivery and project execution, ensuring all jobs are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team across all departments.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as quality assurance and logistics, to enhance operations and productivity.
- Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.- 3+ years of trade experience in either HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, or insulation)
- Strong management, leadership, organizational, and administrative skills, able to multitask and stay cool under pressure.
- Intermediate level Microsoft Office 365 Skills, advanced level preferred.
- Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with the Team, relate to, and motivate all employees.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and forklifts.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is essential.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members at all levels.
- A commitment to maintaining high safety standards within the workplace.
- Must possess a valid California Driver's License.
- Must have a clean driving record
- Spanish speaker is a Plus.
- Two years of experience with the ESA Program is preferred.
- Must pass a seven-year background check
- Must pass a drug test.
