Production Control Specialist

The Production Control Scheduler (Scheduling Specialist) position is an on-site full-time opportunity within our manufacturing and distribution organization.

The Production Control Scheduler is the quality control front line for our organization. Our PCS takes receipt of a live sales order and schedules it to be produced and delivered out of one of our four manufacturing plants. The PCS reviews orders for accuracy and material availability for each delivery. Order review also includes confirming material type, profile, manufacturing capacity and delivery capability of each location.

This position is scheduled from 8:00am – 5:00pm (EST) Monday through Friday with overtime as needed or required. Responsibilities

· Review and accuracy of sales orders to be processed

· Ensure required source documents and signed customer verification documents match sales orders

· Review inventory levels and report stock-outs

· Reference back-order quantities against live sales orders

· Create Supply Chain Transfers through use of digital MRP systems

· Mapping the routing of delivered goods by use of logistics software

· Maintain order fulfilment within stated lead times while working within the manufacturing capacities per facility

Qualifications

· Preferred two-year degree or equivalent experience

· Competent use of Microsoft Office programs

· Maintain a typing speed of 50 CWPM

· Communicate professionally within an office

· Ability to recall a high volume of SKU’s

· Understanding of efficient routing

Physical Requirements

· Able to work from a seated position for extended periods of time

· Able to communicate vocally and digitally with or without accommodation

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $13.50 - $15.00 per hour

Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and pass pre-hire criminal background check.
