Department: Operations Location: Abilene, TX and the surrounding area
Position Summary:
The Production Consultant is responsible for overseeing the production for current and future oil & gas fields to increase production and profitability of wells on our leases.
Job Responsibilities:
•
New Well completions
•
Re-entry tie backs
•
Casing replacement
•
Fishing tools, packers
•
Reverse units, swivels
•
Diagnose downhole problems
•
Working with Mature fields
•
LOE control
•
Communication with office and field staff to keep all parties informed and moving toward the same common goal
•
Coordination with suppliers and subcontractors when used in regards to ongoing projects.
•
Specific duties include, but are not limited to, contract administration, schedule management, preparation of spreadsheets & reports, risk management, safety, and quality control.
Job Requirements:
•
In Depth knowledge of oil & gas production
•
Basic knowledge of safety and security issues and regulations.
•
Excellent mathematical skills, including application, and use in problem solving.
•
Strong coordination, time management, active listening, verbal and written communication skills, critical thinking and reasoning skills.
•
Computer literacy and proficiency using MS Office
•
10 years of experience
