Production Associate Machine Operator Days or Nights 12-hour shift

Job Summary

We are seeking both a Days and a Nights Machine Operator (12-hour shifts) to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of machinery and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Machine Operator will be responsible for producing high-quality products while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Duties

- Operate and monitor machinery, specifically an annealing furnace.

- Perform setup and adjustments on machines to ensure optimal performance and product quality.

- Read and interpret build orders to understand specifications for production.

- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify product dimensions.

- Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to maintain high standards.

- Collaborate with team members for efficient workflow and materials handling.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.

- Follow all company policies regarding safety, quality, and production efficiency.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in a manufacturing or machining environment is preferred.

- Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment is a plus.

- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge.

- Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and adjustments.

- Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.

We have 2 positions, one days and one nights, 12 hours shifts, 3 days week one, 4 days week two.

Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Education:

- High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

- Machine operation: 1 year (Preferred)

- forklift: 1 year (Preferred)
