About the role:

Reporting to the maintenance supervisor, the Processing Welder is responsible for fusing, bonding, cutting and forming metals in the repair, rebuilding, fabrication and installation of plate, sheet, pipe, castings and structural members using a variety of welding processes.

This is a full-time hourly position that offers an attractive Monday to Thursday, 10-hour dayshift schedule.

The position is site-based at our operations in the Elk Valley, and the ability to reliably commute to or relocate near Sparwood, B.C is necessary.

Base earnings reflected in salary range includes the hourly wage plus applicable shift premiums and will differ depending on location. It is calculated using a reasonably expected number of hours worked per year.

This position involves welding and fabricating heavy mining equipment and structures in an industrial environment. If you're a Red Seal Welder, Journeyperson Welder, or CWB Certified Welder with experience in structural welding and heavy equipment repair, we encourage you to apply.
