About This Job

Osmose is seeking to hire a new Process Engineer that will involve developing new systems, defining areas for process improvement, and designing company-wide training programs. The ideal candidate will use data-driven insights to drive the success of new projects, ensuring efficiency and optimization across operations. The Process Engineer will collaborate with various teams to identify improvement opportunities and implement sustainable solutions, helping to streamline processes and foster continuous development within the company.


Responsibilities:


Process Improvement

Define areas of improvement by engaging with field operations and operation support teams.
Lead initiatives to create an efficient/effective solution for improvement opportunities.
Estimate financial impacts of any improvement areas and their potential solutions.
Shepard the modernization of tools used in field processes and office functions.


Training and development

Develop a deep understanding of business functions and standard operating procedures.
Create process maps of business processes to aid in understanding and improving those processes.
Improve training process for optimal training of field crews and field management as well as other supporting roles.


Research and innovation

Independently conduct data-driven investigations to identify new improvement projects.
Support the development of new systems that would improve safety, quality of the company.
Lead or support projects to increase visibility of key performance indicators throughout the company.
Challenge status quo and foster a "system-first" culture.


Requirements:

Educated, experienced, and/or certified in process improvement field
Must be self-driven and continuously seek out new improvement opportunities
Must be able to effectively and efficiently work outside of company office
Must be able to travel occasionally and navigate outdoor environments that are strenuous to traverse
Must be able to speak fluent English
