Location: Laramie, WY

Pete Lien & Sons, Inc., a respected, family-owned mining company with over 80 years of history, is seeking a Process Engineer to join our mineral processing operations in the southern region. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, this salaried position plays a pivotal role in maximizing efficiency and productivity across our operations.

About the Role

This person will take the lead in identifying and driving process improvements, managing project work on both new and existing systems, and assisting with the overall management of daily plant operations. This position requires a highly motivated, self-directed professional with a solid knowledge of industrial plant operations and controls.

- Gathering, analyzing, and reporting plant data

- Developing, implementing, and commissioning improvement projects

- Monitoring daily process KPIs to ensure targets are met

- Streamlining plant operations for greater efficiency

- Drafting standard operating procedures (SOPs) and reference materials

- Advancing automation and process control systems

What We Offer

- Competitive Pay: $85,000 to $105,000 per year depending on experience

What We're Looking For

- 5 to 10 years of process experience.

- 5 to 10 years of supervision and/or management experience.

- Kiln process experience preferred.

- Engineering degree in related field.

- Experienced in industrial plant operations and control systems.

- Highly motivated self-starters, able to work independently with limited direction.

- Strong communicators with excellent analytical and project management skills.

- Skilled in developing SOPs and driving automation improvements.

- Willing to live within 50 miles of the plant.
