H2MOF is on a mission to combat climate change by revolutionizing hydrogen storage. We are addressing the most critical challenge in the hydrogen economy—safe and efficient hydrogen storage—through advanced reticular materials and system integration.
At H2MOF, you’ll be part of a pioneering team driving innovation in clean energy. We offer a collaborative work environment, innovative research opportunities, and the chance to make a tangible impact on the future of sustainable energy. Join us in building the future of clean energy.
We are looking for an energetic Process Engineer to lead the research, development and optimization of processes for integrating reticular materials into hydrogen storage and separation systems. This role involves hands-on experimental work, process design & implementation, reticular-material packaging and system testing in a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment.
- Research, develop and optimize processes for handling and packaging reticular materials.
- Design tools, fixtures, and workflows to improve process efficiency and repeatability.
- Create and maintain process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), equipment lists, and test documentation.
- Operate and maintain hydrogen systems testing lab equipment, including gas sorption analyzers.
- Independently conduct long-duration experiments to collect pressure-composition-temperature (PCT/PCI) isotherms, kinetics, and cycle-life data.
- Help with safety and risk assessments including HAZOP and HAZID studies.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the lab environment.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of chemists, mechanical engineers, system analysts, and architects.
- Master’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in materials & process engineering.
- Strong background in nanomaterials process research, optimization, and scale-up.
- Comfortable with extended lab work and material processing.
- Experience with glove-box operations, high-pressure gas systems and hydrogen.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, experimental documentation and technical reporting.
- Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration skills.
