Keywest has a requirement for an Intermediate Process Engineer, whose primary role will be to work closely with all Keywest disciplines and clients. This role requires the ability to provide solutions to complex problems, to review and support various oil and gas projects within tight timeframes.
Responsibilities may Include but not limited to:
- Develop solutions to complex engineering problems related to oil and gas industry
- Provide detailed process engineering design and deliverables including:
- o Modeling of client processes in Promax, Pipeflo, Symmetry, Symmetry Flare Workspace/Dynamics, HYSYS. Flare Sim, spreadsheets and other software tools available, process evaluation, optimization and debottlenecking studies, BFD, PFD and P&ID preparation, equipment sizing & selection c/w generation of process portion of data sheet, flare system evaluations and sizing, project deliverables input such as DBM’s; cost estimates, vendor drawing review, squad checks & approval, control narrative & shutdown key,
- Review vendor designs, submissions, drawings, and process details/calculations for compliance with RFQ documents and client/project requirements, ensure equipment design is in conformance with project cost, schedule, specifications, industry standards and government regulations,
- Review technical data sheets, specifications and tenders for oil and gas equipment packages, technical selection, calculation, sizing and evaluation of equipment.
The qualified candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, is a registered professional engineer with APEGA, and must have experience in oil and gas upstream facilities and pipelines with an EPCM or producer company. EGBC registration, or willingness to obtain it, considered an asset.
- 6-12 years Process Engineering experience
- P. Eng experience with stamping drawings, considered an asset.
- Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal,
- Strong computer, organizational and technical skills,
- Ability to work under pressure on multiple projects at the same time,
- Capable of working independently
- Meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment,
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization,
- Strong problem-solving skills,
