POSITION SUMMARY:

The Garyville Refinery is in search of a highly motivated Refining Process Engineer to support our strategic effort to ensure mechanical integrity and reliability of our world-class assets. Technical Services Corrosion Team members drive continuous improvements relating to process and utility system corrosion issues while striving to understand, anticipate, and plan for potential corrosion related damage. This position reports to a Process Optimization & Growth Manager.

This position belongs to a family of jobs with increasing responsibility, competency, and skill level. Actual position title and pay grade will be based on the selected candidate’s experience and qualifications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:* Manage adherence to Integrity Operating Windows (IOWs) for the area operating teams. Drive improvements and changes to the IOW program through consultation with Operations, Reliability, Fixed Equipment Mechanical Integrity (FEMI), & Area Team Process Engineers (ATPEs).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:* Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from a four-year accredited college or university required.
