UES is seeking a Principal Geotechnical Engineer to support our growing Atlanta and greater Southeast region.
As a Principal Engineer at UES you will contribute to local and regional offices by providing leadership and support with technical expertise, client relationships, and project execution. You will mentor and support Geotechnical staff, participate in project proposals, review designs, and represent UES in the community and industry.

•Provide senior technical oversight and expertise on complex proposals and projects, generate reports, recommendations and other documentation needed by clients, including engineering and design
•Contribute to strategic market goals, assist with department management P&L, participate in business development, networking and marketing as needed
•Host or attend project meetings with clients, conduct site meetings, site estimates, and project recommendations for prospective and current clients
•Provide guidance to project managers regarding engineering problems or client interactions
•Develop and manage projects with new and existing clients, ensuring profitability
•Maintain excellent communication both verbally and electronically with senior management, project managers and colleagues
•Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality and integrity
Qualifications:
Requirements:
•Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, or similar is required
•15+ years of Geotechnical design experience required
•Professional Engineer (P.E) license is required
