POSITION OVERVIEW

The position of Principal Advisor is an important technical position within Quanta Technology and is reserved for people with demonstrated technical skills and the ability to independently write proposals, manage and execute projects, and help with opportunity identification and client management. A Principal Advisor is encouraged to build a strong industry presence and aim at becoming one of the top-recognized people in their area in the future.

Principal Advisors are responsible for leading a team of advisors or senior advisors and providing tactical advice to clients at the department, director, or manager level. These individuals must be able to understand complex industry and technical challenges and develop and lead solutions from different disciplines at the tactical level. A typical scope of work for this position includes developing solutions to complex problems that involve technical and economic perspectives.

TARGETED OUTCOMES

The successful candidate will build and maintain the MLOps pipeline for Quanta Technology; Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to deliver and optimize AI enabled applications for the enterprise and our customers; and bring a high standard to our AI practice.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development responsibilities include identifying and helping to develop strategic revenue-generating relationships with existing or potential customers. After an initial adjustment period, Advisors typically will perform Business Development activities assisting others in this area. Achievement of Business Development activities which result in being able to support oneself in billable work. The ability to support additional staff in billable work will improve one’s assent within this position’s pay range. However, Advisors with strong technical skills who do not perform any level of Business Development activity may only ascend to the mid-level of this position’s pay range.

Quanta Technology has offices in Raleigh, NC, Markham, ON, Lombard, IL, and San Clemente, CA. We offer hybrid employment that supports a blend of in-office and remote work.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Working conditions are normal for a professional office environment. When working in a field or lab environment, protective personal equipment or additional safety training may be required. The role may require the ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions. Ability to sit, stand, kneel, and bend is required. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
