About This Job
PGSTech is in charge of the development, support and commercialization of EMTP (www.emtp.com). EMTP is a simulation software for power system electromagnetic transients.
Main responsibilities
•
Perform various power system studies with EMTP and PSS/E, such as IBR modeling, stability analyses, insulation coordination, TRV, etc.
•
Perform simulations with EMTP on power system transients for various clients.
•
Build vendor convertor models with DLL.
•
Prepare presentations for clients on given technical topics related to power system transients.
•
Develop models in the EMTP GUI environment. The model development may involve some coding using scripts and DLLs
•
Developing new features in EMTP.
Qualifications
•
You are a power system engineer
•
You have strong interpersonal and client relation skills
•
You have at least 3 years of experience in electrical network studies (transmission and distribution, power electronics)
•
You are familiar with electromagnetic transients
•
You have basic coding knowledges (Python, C#, JavaScript)
•
You have strong technical and organizational skills
•
You are fluent in English
•
