Job Summary

The PG Planning Program Analyst is responsible for conducting Assurance Reviews (AR) to evaluate program readiness and will work with project leaders to identify critical gaps in readiness to deliver. The analyst will then help accelerate decision-making by developing key initiatives (e.g., renovation of existing generation assets) and decision charters to improve DEV’s readiness to advance desired projects. This role ensures priority initiatives meet time, budget and operational capability expectations while enhancing transparency and accountability across the organization.

The Analyst will facilitate quarterly AR review meetings to track progress on priority decisions and resolve issues (e.g., limited resources, permitting). Key responsibilities include cross-functional coordination (e.g., facilitating meetings with Business Development and Regulatory Affairs teams), assessing initiative feasibility through data gathering and analysis, and supporting reporting.

Initiate the assurance review (AR) process for any significant new levers (e.g., levers representing MW contributions greater than ~1% of LSE peak load) being incorporated into the build plan.

Conduct quarterly AR reviews with lever owners to track progress on priority decisions and initiatives aimed at achieving 'path to green' status. Develop and implement tracking mechanisms to measure progress, identify issues and ensure their timely resolution. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align strategies and ensure consistency in achieving organizational objectives

Identify and implement enhancements to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the AR processes. Provide ad hoc support to planning engineer, transmission engineers, and Director as needed (e.g., analytical support, conducting research). Prepare reports and presentations for leadership and stakeholders to communicate findings and recommendation.
