Overview

We are seeking a skilled Powder Coater to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying powder coatings to various metal surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet our stringent standards. This role requires attention to detail, technical skills, and a commitment to safety and efficiency in a manufacturing environment.

Duties

•

Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, or masking as necessary.

•

Operate powder coating equipment, including spray guns and curing ovens.

•

Monitor the coating process to ensure proper application and adherence to specifications.

•

Conduct quality checks on finished products using precision measuring instruments.

•

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

•

Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and implement lean manufacturing practices.

•

Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform basic maintenance as needed.

Experience

Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

•

1-2 years of powder coating and painting experience preferred.

•

Prior experience with painting involving wash stages.

•

Basic knowledge of reading blueprints and knowledge of maintaining paint line functionality.

•

Excellent attention to detail with a quality-oriented mindset.

•

Excellent communication skills.
